What is planned maintenance?
It is a package we offer our customer that consists of two service calls each year. One in the Spring and another in the Fall.
What do we check on the Planned Maintenance?
Spring (A/C unit)
- Check unit operation
- Inspect electrical connections
- Grease and lubricate bearings
- Check evaporator coils for cleanliness
- Check drain pan
- Check condenser coils
- Check electrical lockout circuits
- Check refrigerant charge
- Check air temperature across evaporator
Fall (Heater unit)
- Check unit operation
- Inspect electrical connections
- Grease and lubricate bearings
- Check safety controls
- Check electric heat for proper operation
- Check blower wheel for cleanliness
- Check electrical lockout circuits
- Check fan operation during heating
- Check reversing valve operation
- Check Carbon monoxide
- Check flue pipes
- Check combustion air
In addition to checking your unit twice a year, you receive a 10% discount on parts and labor for any service calls required in between your Planned Maintenance checkups.
